The team at Woofles specialise in supplying raw food to cat and dog breeders.

Hi there!  We are Chris Richardson and Shane Chiverrell of ‘Woofles’ – the Gourmet Petfood Kitchen at the bottom end of King Street Pukekohe; located opposite the new Rever Bar and next to ‘Pet’s Alive’ pet shop.

We took over the shop back in May ’08, where we have since spruced the place up a bit and are slowly becoming a well known place around Pukekohe and surrounding areas.

As soon as we started we realised we needed to tidy the place up, and give it a fresh, cleaner new look, that would be inviting for customers. So two weeks later, out came the paint cans, in came the friends and family, and the work began.

Our counter has become a huge talking point on its own as it is a 700 litre marine aquarium, making it a favourite especially with the little ones who like to come in and see ‘Nemo’ and ‘Dory’.

Between Chris’ cheffing background and Shane’s previous customer service roles, we are a friendly one stop shop for knowledge about the dietary requirements for your pet. 

Specialising in raw feeding, we supply to dog and cat breeders, greyhound racers, show dogs, hard working farm dogs and the family pet, and to our own dogs King and Abbey who have great fun here and are a big part of the Woofles family.

One of our customers Fiona Hartley who runs Newflands Kennels and breeds New Foundlands looked after King over the Christmas period. King had an awesome time and would highly recommend her place as “THE place to stay for that needed R & R”.

We also stock a range of super premium dried food, such as Nutro Choice, Nutrience and Royal Canin, and run a loyalty system so we can give something back to our customers. We stock ActivEnergy which is a big favourite both locally and further down the country. We deliver Auckland wide and can arrange shipping for outside the Auckland area.

At Woofles, we take a nutritional approach to feeding your pet that looks to their diet in the wild, by providing high quality fresh meat and bones, with products like rabbit, lamb, ostrich, fish, beef and chicken; giving a whole new meaning to ‘a dog’s breakfast’. 

We provide support to our local SPCA BirdWing branch and do weekly visits to deliver our mince to support Lee Lochore who is truly amazing for the tireless work she does rehabilitating sick, abandoned and injured birds.
